CCAL is proud to collaborate on this lovely gallery space. Lake Murray Tire & Automotive is one of the leading auto repair shops in Chapin serving local and surrounding areas, performing auto maintenance services and car repairs. Whether you are leaving your vehicle for service of getting your vehicle serviced while you wait, you can enjoy the wonderful display of artwork by a local artist during your visit.

One artist is featured in this unique gallery every 3 months. Art is displayed in a cozy corner seating area with two adjoining walls; one 8’H x 6’W and the other 5’H x 6’W, as well as an opposing wall that measures 8’H x 4’W. The gallery can be viewed during their normal business hours.

The inaugural display in the gallery showcases artwork by local artist, Tommy Thompson. It is on display now through May. Watch for a new post with details about the exhibit coming soon.

Did you know CCAL is now a proud sponsor of rotating art exhibits at sixteen (16) Host Galleries at businesses throughout the Midlands? These galleries offer a great opportunity for local businesses to show their support for the arts and for local artists. The hosts and their clients get to enjoy a regular rotation of fresh artwork while enjoying the fruits of the artists' labors. Artists enjoy the opportunity for art lovers to become familiar with their work and perhaps purchase some of it to enjoy long-term in their own collections.

CCAL is proud to offer this service at no cost to the host galleries or the artists*. All sales are between the buyer and the artist.

Interested in becoming a part of this great process?

CCAL Members can now request an exhibit in this gallery (or any of our other galleries) on the online CCAL Public Galleries Artist Assignment Form. The various galleries offer a wide range of options for duration, size and number of pieces. All member artists are welcome to participate. It's a great way to exhibit your art!

Potential gallery hosts can just send us an email to request a review for potential inclusion as a gallery host site. All host sites are subject to review and approval by the CCAL Board to ensure a good fit for both the host and the artists.

*Select gallery sites process sales directly and request a commission from the artist on all sales.

CCAL Gallery Host:

The Lake Murray Tire & Auto Gallery is located in the lovely waiting room space at Lake Murray Tire & Auto. One artist is featured in this unique gallery every 3 months. Art is displayed in a cozy corner seating area with two adjoining walls; one 8’H x 6’W and the other 5’H x 6’W, as well as an opposing wall that measures 8’H x 4’W. The rotating exhibit of fine art showcases a wide variety of mediums including oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media and photography. Originals and prints can be discovered here with each display. Each piece of art is labeled with the artist's contact information.

This exhibit features multiple pieces by a single artist with the display rotating every three months.
