2021 CCAL End of Year Party and May Meeting
Our end of year party will be held in conjunction with our May meeting this year, on Monday May 17th.
We are thrilled to say that we will hold an in person meeting for this one folks! Here are a few special considerations to help continue to keep everyone safe:
Due to COVID restrictions, we will have no open refreshments. We will have some individually packaged snacks and bottled water available. Please feel free to bring your own beverage or snack. (We hope to resume our great refreshments tradition in the fall!)
To give us a little more space to spread out, we will meet in the FRONT meeting room adjacent to the kitchen (where our awards reception has been held in the past). This is the first room on the left after entering through the lobby.
Masks are required. Please spread out and observe social distancing.
All artists bringing artwork to participate in the Annual Contest should bring their own easels and have their artwork setup before 6pm.
The meeting will begin at at 6:30 pm. The park closes at 8pm so we need to be able to finish and vacate the building in time.
We will open our regular Zoom CCAL meeting space for people to join in online, if they prefer, so that they can still see the meeting and artwork presentation (see Zoom login information below).
This month, our presentation will be showcasing the entries our annual contest. This year's theme is "SC Feathered Friends and Wildlife" (Open to all members, see the prospectus HERE). If you are participating in the contest, please have your paintings and easels there between 5 and 6 pm. We will have tables available if you want to use a table easel. Floor easels will also work well. All voting for awards will be done by in person voting only. Online participants will be able to see the artwork and awards but not able to vote.
Please plan on attending and casting your vote for the best artwork if you're there in person!
