Palmetto Fine Arts generously dedicates space for CCAL artists to always be part of the great display of Fine Art in their gallery. Until December , 2019 you can see the artwork of three great CCAL artists: Bobbi Sorensen, Julie Larkin and Adelia Ruth.
Roberta (Bobbi) Sorensen is an Association Executive and legislative specialist who retired after a career working on Capitol Hill and for health related organizations including the American Medical Association, The College of American Pathologists, and the Washington Center for Psychoanalysis where she served as Executive Director for ten years before retiring to SC. She currently consults with a small number of associations. Bobbi has a BA in Art Education from the University of Maryland, and an MA in Legislation from the George Washington University. Upon retiring, she picked up her artist materials and began painting again, joined and has been inspired by the talented and generous artists of the Crooked Creek Art League who she credits with encouraging her to grow as an artist. Bobbi has two daughters, one a teacher living in Irmo, and one a journalist in London, UK.

Julie Larkin - A Crooked Creek Art League member since September 2018. She is a self-taught artist who draws on a lifetime of world travel for inspiration. She enjoys the creative experience of abstract expressionism which originates in her mind and ends up on a canvas.

Adelia Shirer Ruth, native of Georgetown SC, worked with Ilona Smithkin of New York, studying impressionistic art. She has also studied with Anna Kay Singley, Nancy Bourne, Wanda Coleman, Pat Weaver, Briget O'Conner, Lee Mont and, more recently, perspective with Anne Hightower-Patterson White. Adelia's watercolor won 3rd Place in the Newberry SC Agricultural Expo Expedition in 2012. Her watercolor was juried into the SC State Fair Exhibit of the Arts. In 2013 she won 2nd Place in the Amateur Division of the SC State Fair and in 2014, 2016 and 2017 was juried into the prestigious Artfields of Lake City SC. In 2015 the 2014 Artfields painting won 1st Place in the North Charleston Arts Festival. In 2016 her entry "Arts My Bag" watercolor won 3rd Place and was purchased by the City of North Charleston. In the last 8 years, Adelia's art has exhibited and sold in many arts and crafts festivals across SC. Her art is currently shown at the Elegant of Lake City SC, The Gallery of Newberry SC, the Added Touch of Saluda SC, and the Newberry Hospital. Adelia and her husband, the Reverend Devon Ruth, now live in Saluda SC.
