"A Different View" Photograph by Lisa Stone
During the course of her life, Lisa has been an astute observer. From the time she was young, she was fascinated with faces, architecture and landscapes. She has always taken photos, but about five years ago, she started putting her photographs on Facebook and other digital outlets. People loved her work. They couldn't get enough of it. So Lisa decided it was time to take it more seriously.
Lisa has photographed one wedding and is scheduled to photograph another one for a friend, at the end of April. She has photographed family portraits, engagement photos and groups of friends. Lisa feels honored to be chosen to photograph her friends' weddings.
Her photo, entitled "A Different View," is in her eyes the best photo she's ever taken. It was shot at the Customs House in Charleston just this past weekend when she went for a day trip. She titled it "A Different View," so that others can see things from a different view other than their own. Lisa says, "There are many facets of life we miss because we simply don't see things from a different view." That is what Lisa's piece represents. She believes, "We need to see the world with the eyes of others, rather than just our own limited perspective." She hopes you will see what she does when you look at her artwork. You can find more of her work by visiting her website at musicaldreamsstudios.com and on her Facebook page also at Musical Dreams Studios and Sunset Photography, respectively. She can also be reached at MusicalDreamsStudios@gmail.com
