About the Artist
Diane Neil is a contemporary mixed-media mosaic artist based in Chapin, SC. Driven by an obsession with color, texture, and organic patterns, she creates tactile, high-energy works designed to challenge and captivate the viewer's eye.
Neil’s career includes numerous regional accolades. Her mixed-media mosaic “Lady Lollipop” earned both an Outstanding Merit and a Purchase Award at the 2026 SC Palmetto Hands Juried Fine Craft Exhibition, alongside a Merit Award from the Crooked Creek Art League. In 2025 her work, “Virtuoso”, secured the First Premium Fine Art Professional title in 3D Open Media at SC State Fair, an Honorable Mention at Palmetto Hands Juried Fine Craft Exhibition, and the Braddock-Janney Legacy Award in the Crooked Creek Art League’s juried show. Her work has been featured in Chapin Magazine and Chapin Neighbors and has been publicly displayed in SAMA’s “One Hundred Moments Project” at Corning Museum of Glass in NY and at Pittsburgh Glass Gallery in PA, as well as in prominent SC venues.

Sozo Family Fitness
Sozo Family Fitness is proud to host a guest artist display each month in the "Sozo Family Fitness Gallery". In addition to helping Chapin get fit, Kara is an enthusiastic supporter of the arts in Chapin. We are thrilled to be working with Sozo to showcase more art in town.
The gallery is located in the front lobby at Sozo Fitness at 510 Columbia Avenue. It hosts a piece of art by one of Crooked Creek Art League's artists on a monthly rotation.
