NEW CCAL Public Gallery!

CCAL is proud to return to the Lowman Home with a beautiful new gallery space, The Heritage at Lowman Gallery.

Three artists are featured in this unique gallery every 3 months. Art by two artists is displayed on two 22-foot long divided walls above a chair rail with hanging wires (one per artist). Each wall has 3-4 6ft tracks with 11-14 (4’) cables and 22-28 hooks. In addition, a curio cabinet can house smaller works and 3D pieces from a third artist. The cabinet has seven 11” deep and 33” wide adjustable glass shelves so room for lots of great art! The gallery can be viewed during their normal business hours.

Thank you so much to everyone at Lutheran Homes of South Carolina for being a longtime loyal supporter of the league and our newest gallery host - helping make the new gallery space come to life and bringing local art to our community!

The inaugural display in the gallery showcases artwork by three fabulous local artists: Allyn Bedenbaugh, Brenda Peake and Ron Weathers. It is on display now through September. Watch for a new post with details about the exhibit coming soon.

But wait, there's more!!

Did you know CCAL is now a proud sponsor of rotating art exhibits at sixteen (17) Host Galleries at businesses throughout the Midlands? These galleries offer a great opportunity for local businesses to show their support for the arts and for local artists. The hosts and their clients get to enjoy a regular rotation of fresh artwork while enjoying the fruits of the artists' labors. Artists enjoy the opportunity for art lovers to become familiar with their work and perhaps purchase some of it to enjoy long-term in their own collections.

CCAL is proud to offer this service at no cost to the host galleries or the artists*. All sales are between the buyer and the artist.

Interested in becoming a part of this great process?

CCAL Members can now request an exhibit in this gallery (or any of our other galleries) on the online CCAL Public Galleries Artist Assignment Form. The various galleries offer a wide range of options for duration, size and number of pieces. All member artists are welcome to participate. It's a great way to exhibit your art!

Potential gallery hosts can just send us an email to request a review for potential inclusion as a gallery host site. All host sites are subject to review and approval by the CCAL Board to ensure a good fit for both the host and the artists.

*Select gallery sites process sales directly and request a commission from the artist on all sales.
