A Message from Our President

Greetings to CCAL Members:

It has been a year since we were able to have a “regular” meeting, and the officers and committee coordinators thank you for continuing to support the League monthly meetings and workshops via Zoom. It has definitely been a learning experience for most of us.

New Members

Please join me in welcoming the new members who joined in January – Lisa Alberghini and Charles Pittman.

Workshops

There are still spaces available for Ryan Fox’s “Watercolor Loose & Fast” March 5 and 6 virtual workshop. Please register online under Events/Calendar/Workshops. Also, if you paid the $50 deposit, please go online to pay the balance.

2021 Juried Art Exhibit

Thank you to our artists who entered pieces in the 2021 Juried Art Exhibit. The exhibit is open now for anyone who wants to stop by the park to see the work of our talented League members. Of course, a mask is required in the building. I would also like to thank the following members for volunteering their time during take-in and hanging. We got our steps in that day.

Open Painting

The Park has given the green light for Wednesday open painting to begin in the Arts and Crafts Room from 9:00am – lunch. Each artist should wear a mask and use a separate table.

Would you like to teach an art class or workshop for youngsters or adults at Crooked Creek Recreation Center?

This may be a one-time class or a series of classes over a period of time. If you are interested, please contact Jason White, Park Director, at (803) 345-6181.

You will need the following:

Required Documentation

Business License or Professional License or Certification plus a Copy of Liability Insurance Certificate

Also Supply a Copy of One of the Following

Contractor’s Business Card or Contractor’s Advertising
