We invite you to join us at a very special event on Monday Mar 15, 2021 for some fun and fellowship!
Due to COVID and in light of increased safety and social distancing guidelines, we are (for now) going digital. So, this year we're bringing our premier event, the Awards Ceremony for this year's Juried Show, straight to your home studio or sofa, so we can stay connected during these unprecedented times. All winning artists will be announced live during the event and the artwork will be on display. We're doing our very best to make this a special occasion for us all to celebrate that in spite of COVID, CCAL is still going strong bring art and artists together for the benefit of all!
Once again, we also have great sponsors that have stepped up to help ensure we can celebrate the arts in style! A great big thank you to them all and we will recognize each of them with gratitude in the ceremony as well.
Hope to see you there - members and guests welcome!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR 3D JURIED SHOW PARTICIPANTS
Based on current MIGS status for our artists that do 3D work, the board is concerned with the potential for low entries in the 3D category. We currently have only one entry in the 3D Division. Anticipating the probability of an entry of less than 10 pieces in this category, some adjustments are planned for this classification.
NOTE: If an entry of more than 10 pieces of 3D artwork are received judging will proceed as outlined in the prospectus. Otherwise, we will handle 3D artwork entries as follows:
If the 3D artwork is a wall-hanging object, the artist may elect to hang his/her art with the 2D Amateur Division and will, therefore, be able to have his/her artwork juried for an award in the 2D Amateur Division.
If the artist does not elect to hang the piece with the 2D Amateur Division, the piece will be accepted for Exhibit Only and will be displayed in the lobby in the usual 3D location. As in the past, the piece will be available for purchase if the artist chooses.
Any piece that is not suitable for hanging will be displayed for Exhibit Only in the TAP Display Case and will be available for purchase if the artist chooses.
An artist who elects to have his/her art displayed for Exhibit Only will have his/her registration fee refunded.

A reminder to our members:
A reminder to our members about the TAP Gallery Wall Display:
The theme for February is “Brrr, It’s Cold.” If you have a winter painting or photograph that you will share, please drop it by the park and hang it in the TAP Gallery after February 15.
Even though we are not able to hold our monthly meeting at the park, there are still a lot of people in and out of the facility. In the past, the park staff has determined their “favorite” piece, and a ribbon was awarded. Please consider entering a piece!
