CROOKED CREEK ART LEAGUE CHRISTMAS PARTY
Monday, December 18th, 2023
5:30 – 8:00 p.m.
Chapin Town Hall Community Room
157 NW Columbia Avenue, Chapin
Celebrate the holidays and join us for food, fellowship and some fun games at our annual Christmas Party, which will be held at the Chapin Town Hall in the Community Room. It will be on on our regularly scheduled 3rd Monday of the month, Monday, December 18. [The party will be in place of our regular December General Meeting.] We plan to again offer the business portion of the meeting as a hybrid in-person meeting with a simultaneous Zoom option for those uncomfortable or unable to meet in person.
Come join in the fun as we spend a wonderful evening of fun and fellowship. Always a popular event, everyone is welcome to attend and bring a guest.
Please bring a festive food item or meatballs, hors d'oeuvres, veggies, fruit, dessert, etc. for the party as well as tongs/serving spoons, if needed. Suggestions: Fruit or Veggie tray, Finger sandwiches, Desserts, Shrimp Cocktail, Meatballs, etc. All food items should be delivered and in place by 5:30 p.m. Bring your own beer or wine if desired. Paper goods and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.
We will collect donated art supplies for Epworth Children’s Home at our party. Last year Epworth was thrilled with what the league provided for their children.
Party will conclude at 8:00 p.m. to allow time for cleanup.
Attendance at this event counts as one of the required three meetings toward entry into our juried shows.

A reminder to our members:
Each month, we hold a new themed contest in the TAP Gallery. All CCAL members are invited to participate. Simply create your best piece according to the theme and bring it to hang on the start date listed below. (Be sure to bring your gallery wall label.) Only original works only are permitted in judged theme contests (no prints please). Exhibits typically change the same night as our monthly member meeting. Be sure to take home your artwork at the end of the exhibit!!
A monthly Award Winner will be selected and awarded a ribbon for themed exhibits. Happy creating!
In order to give our members more time to paint ahead for the TAP Gallery Exhibits, we will be trying to keep a yearly list of upcoming themes published in advance.
