Artist Bio: Roberta Sorensen
Roberta (Bobbi) Sorensen is an Association Executive and legislative specialist who retired after a career working on Capitol Hill and for health related organizations including the American Medical Association, The College of American Pathologists, and the Washington Center for Psychoanalysis where she served as Executive Director for ten years before retiring to SC. She currently consults with a small number of associations. Bobbi has a BA in Art Education from the University of Maryland, and an MA in Legislation from the George Washington University. Upon retiring, she picked up her artist materials and began painting again, joined and has been inspired by the talented and generous artists of the Crooked Creek Art League who she credits with encouraging her to grow as an artist. Bobbi has two daughters, one a teacher living in Irmo, and one a journalist in London, UK.
