CCAL at the Chapin Farmers Market

CCAL put on a lovely display in their booth at the Chapin Farmers Market on Saturday September 1. A broad array of member art was on display and good discussions were held with market attendees. Several potential new members expressed interest in joining the league and learning more about art lessons. We were welcomed by the Town Mayor and had a great time. We even made the cover of the Chapin Times!

Several of our members had neighboring booths as well: Adriana Vidal and Alex DiFrancesco. We had a great time hanging out and helping each other out at the event.

A big thank you to the members who helped make this event possible: Barbara Teusink, Sonya Diimmler, Bobbi Sorensen and JJ Casey for organizing and manning the booth. Ron Weathers for the use of his display grids and Al Leitch for the use of his tent.

CCAL will be onsite with another display booth at the Chapin Fall Arts Festival in October. These events can be a lot of fun. If you are ever interested in helping out with one of them, please let us know!
