2018 Annual CCAL Christmas Party

Our annual Christmas party will be held at Ron and Carol Weathers' beautiful home once again.A huge thank you to them both for once again welcoming us so graciously into their home. Come join in the fun as we spend a wonderful evening of fun and fellowship. Always a popular event, everyone is welcome to attend and bring a guest. Please plan to bring finger food (e.g., an appetizer or dessert) to share. Meat entrees will be provided. Soft drinks will be provided, please bring any other beverages you may wish to consume. Chapin Library Gallery - November 2018

CCAL is happy to share that Sandra Oliver has a multi-piece display of her beautiful artwork in the Chapin Library Artist Gallery. The gallery is located in the Chapin Branch of the Lexington County Library and hosts the artwork of one of Crooked Creek Art League's fine artists each month. Artist Bio A native of North Carolina and a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNC-G), Sandra Oliver has called South Carolina home since moving here in 1976. She retired from the South Carolina public schools after teaching both business and mathematics. A great collection of 3D artwork is on exhibit in the TAP Gallery Display Cabinet for November. Jane Couch-Osmelowski has a collection of her beautiful and imaginative bowls, platters and other ceramics arrayed for your viewing pleasure. Jane Couch-Osmelowski, a native South Carolinian, is a ceramicist currently living and working in Columbia, South Carolina. She earned her BA in Art from Winthrop University in 1973 and a MAT in Art Education from the University of South Carolina in 1974. Congratulations to this month's featured artist on display in the "BB&T Bank on Art Gallery": Ruby Haycock-DeLoach. Ruby Haydock-DeLoach at South Carolina State Fair with her watercolor art of dahlias, "Fire and Ice 1"(Sold) "Fire and Ice 2" is on display at BB&T's Bank On Art November artist exhibit. It was painted on location at the Georgia Botanical Gardens in Atlanta. It was a blustery, windy, spring day with threats of rain. I guess you could say Mother Nature helped me paint it.
