Crooked Creek Art League is pleased to welcome The Heritage at Loman Gallery as a new Public Gallery site. Three artists will showcase their art for a three-month period. Two artists will display along the walls, and one artist will display in the curio cabinet.
One of the featured artists for July through September will be Allyn Bedenbaugh. An award-winning artist, Allyn is an active member of the League and a previous Public Galleries coordinator.

About the Artist
Allyn Bedenbaugh

Allyn Bedenbaugh, a Columbia native, began watercolor painting and colored pencil drawing after retiring from a teaching career. She took classes from local artists, participated in painting groups, and joined art leagues. After joining Crooked Creek Art League, she has taken part in the league’s many opportunities, including art classes, juried shows, and galleries. Allyn has entered the SC State Fair for many years, winning twice and selling several pieces. She attends Wildacres Art on the Blue Ridge retreat every summer for a wonderful week of inspiration and art immersion. Her favorite subjects to paint are flowers and landscapes.

CCAL is honored to partner with The Heritage at Lowman to showcase art in their Wellness Center at 2101 Dutch Fork Road in Chapin, SC. Artwork will adorn their beautiful walls in the Wellness Center on a 3-month rotation by multiple artists in mediums including oil, acrylic, watercolor, photography, mixed media and 3D. The art exhibit will be on two large walls, as well as in a beautiful curio cabinet in a hallway off of the building entrance.
The Heritage at Lowman is a non-profit ministry aimed at providing older adults an independent and supportive community that cares for them throughout the aging process.
The rotating exhibit of fine art showcases a wide variety of mediums including oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media and photography. Originals and prints can be discovered here with each display. Each piece of art is labeled with the artist's contact information.
