Barbara is a South Carolina native inspired by the changing light and landscape of marshes, lakes and beaches.  She discovered painting as an adult by attending workshops and taking lessons from local professionals.  She loves painting in oil and is currently honing her skills in painting with soft pastels. As a member of the Crooked Creek Art League, she especially appreciates the league members for keeping the pursuit of art fresh and fun.
