Michael Naughton is the current Crooked Creek Art League President. An acrylic painter, he focuses on abstract pieces in an abstract expressionism style. He calls his art business MTN Lakeshore Gallery, which is an on-line gallery at Https://artist-michaelnaughton.com. His passion for creating art took off at full speed, after a 40+ year career in Human Resources and People Development! 

Stop by Palmetto Fine Arts and Custom Frame Gallery on Saturday September 13 from 11 am to 3 pm to meet Michael and see some of his work.  He will be available to show you some of his most recent work.

Artist Bio

Michael Naughton is an American artist specializing in acrylic painting.  Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Michael has been a resident of Chapin, SC for 21 years.  Michael enjoys using bright colors and much of his work is abstract expressionism.  Most recently, he exhibited his work at the Genesis II  during 701 Open Studios Exhibition on Commerce Dr. Columbia the Artista Vista 2023 in Columbia, Cottontown Art Crawl 2023, and the Prosperity Town Hall. 

During 2022, he was honored to be selected as one of ten artists for the Rosewood Art and Music Festival’s juried show.  Michael is a graduate of Penn State University and La Roche University.
