From the moment she could hold a pencil, Lisa has been immersed in the world of art. Raised in a home where creativity flowed freely, she found her earliest inspiration in her mother—a gifted artist whose graceful strokes and vivid imagination ignited a lifelong passion. As a child, she drew on anything she could find, captivated by the magic of transforming blank surfaces into stories.
Over the years, her artistic journey has evolved through a rich exploration of mediums: charcoal, pencil, chalk, pastels, oils, and eventually watercolors—a medium that stole her heart during community college art classes shared with her mother. Today, watercolor remains one of her most cherished forms of expression, alongside Zentangle drawings, murals, and an eclectic array of crafts including pinestraw basketry, Cairn rock sculptures, pebble art, vintage jewelry design, gourd art, and rock wrapping.
For Lisa, art is more than a skill—it’s a sanctuary. Each piece she creates is a moment of escape, a dive into a dream world where worries fade and imagination reigns. Her work is deeply personal, often reflecting a sense of wonder, serenity, and spiritual gratitude for what she sees as a God-given gift.
Now focusing more intentionally on her creative practice, Lisa continues to explore, experiment, and inspire—her brushes and pens always at the ready, her heart forever open to the next artistic adventure.
