Juried Show News

Dear League Members,

We are getting close to our 2023 CCAL Annual Juried Show and Sale. It will be on display at Crooked Creek Park the end of this month, with the take-in of art on Saturday, Feb. 25th at the park. Last names beginning with these letters should bring your online submitted art to the front of the park lobby at the following times:

A - E 10:00am – 11:00am

F - P 11:00am – 12:00pm

Q - Z 12:00pm – 1:00pm

The Juried Show Awards Reception will be held at the park on March 24th, 6:00 – 8:00pm. We are still looking for volunteers. See the sign-up sheets at our February general meeting. Online entry for the show began January 23rd and there have been 37 pieces entered to date with many more planning to arrive by the submission deadline, Feb. 23rd. Please submit so that you can be included. Thank you for those who already have submitted their work.

It is great having so much local business support, but we still need financial support from our membership. Would you consider becoming a supporter of the show through a financial gift? It is a wonderful way to give back to the league for the amount of effort and finances it spends on the show each year. Full page, half page, quarter page ads can be included in the Program (see above link for details). The deadline for anyone wishing to give and be included in the Juried Show Program is Friday, February 10.
