Every month the Chapin Chamber of Commerce recognizes one of Crooked Creek Art League's artists as the Chamber Spotlight Artist of the Month. Congratulations to artist, Jo Ann Lonesky. Jo is a newer member of the league, and we thank her for volunteering to share her art in our Public Galleries. See her painting in person at the Chamber if you get a chance!

About the Artist
Jo Ann Lonesky
Jo Ann Lonesky (aka Jo) started painting from a very early age. She was encouraged by her parents and teachers to continue with this talent, and she has done exactly that. She continued with lessons while living in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and recently with artist Campbell Frost in Columbia, South Carolina.
Colors and ideas have been in her thoughts forever and she had to do something with them - she has put them on canvas. The sunsets and marshes along the coast can now be seen in her colorful paintings.
Jo will tell you that life is full of color and you can see beautiful creations surrounding us every day. She encourages us to take time to enjoy the sunsets and the changes in our seasons and let their colors fill us with joy.
CCAL Gallery Host:
Each month, CCAL shines a spotlight on one of our own. The Chapin Chamber of Commerce graciously features the art of this artist in their lobby in the CCAL Spotlight Artist Gallery.
This exhibit features one piece of wall hanging artwork per month.
The gallery is located in the lobby of the Chapin Chamber of Commerce at 302 Columbia Avenue in Chapin. It hosts a rotating display with a new piece from a Crooked Creek Art League artist featured each month.
