About the Artist
Kay Fox

Kay Fox is an up-and-coming nature photographer. A 1979 graduate of Winthrop College and a lifetime South Carolinian, she is a retired physical education teacher and coach.
Upon her retirement, Kay married her husband, Brian Fox, and moved to Blythewood and became involved with Crooked Creek Art League.
Her husband got her interested in nature photography after 38 years of teaching and coaching. They spend a lot of their free time walking the trails in state parks and at Crooked Creek looking for great photo opportunities. She is impressed with the town of Chapin and thinks it is one of the finest small towns SC has to offer.
Kay’s advice is if you live here, come to the park and see what Crooked Creek Art League has to offer for all art mediums and skill levels. Take it from a gym teacher, art is for everyone.
