About the Artist
Brooks Campbell

Brooks Campbell is a visual artist based in Chapin, with more than three decades of experience as a concept artist in animation and live-action film. His work spans some of the industry’s most recognizable projects, blending storytelling, design, and visual imagination.
Raised in Utah, Brooks developed an early love for art inspired by Norman Rockwell and Disney films. After seeing The Jungle Book as a child, he set his sights on bringing drawings to life. He began oil painting at the age of eight, joined advanced university-level classes by twelve, and earned high honors at the Salt Lake Art Center at seventeen.
Brooks later moved to California, where he worked for Walt Disney Feature Animation.
His credits include The Lion King, Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Dinosaur, Phineas and Ferb, The Jungle Book 2 and Monsters at Work.
In addition to animation, he has written, produced, and directed three live-action films. Now based in Chapin SC near Lake Murray, Brooks focuses on fine art inspired by the wildlife and natural beauty of the area with work held in private collections, including pieces commissioned for Dr. Phil.
