About the Artist
Gail Delzell

I was born in Stevens Point, Wis. I started my artwork in high school and continue it to this day. Following my graduation from college I received my commission as a Second Lieutenant in the US army. I spent the next twenty years serving in both stateside and overseas locations. I met my husband, Sam Unangst, another fellow officer while in the Army. We have a son who is currently in the Air Force. Following my retirement, at Fort Jackson, SC, we settled down in Chapin and have lived here for over twenty-five years.
