Congratulations to Robin Houston for her display in the Artistic Prosperity Gallery at Prosperity Town Hall. Robin is an award-winning artist and an active member of Crooked Creek Art League. She frequently volunteers to share her art in our public galleries. We appreciate her participation.

"Bluebonnet Boots" is a simple nod to Southern spirit, blending soft florals with the steady grounded presence of a life lived close to the land.

"Song of the Land" ties the Carolina Wren, Yellow Jasmine, and South Carolina together - symbolizing belonging and connection to the land.

Zuri, meaning "beautiful," embodies a quiet, rooted confidence. Wrapped in vibrant color and cultural expression, she stands in her own becoming-unapologetic, radiant, and deeply grounded in identity.

Robin Houston

Robin Winesett Houston


Robin Houston is a South Carolina-based visual artist working primarily in acrylics, with additional exploration in watercolor and mixed media.  A Columbia, South Carolina native, she has resided in Pageland, South Carolina for nearly four decades, where her community and faith influence her creative practice. Robin is a member of the Crooked Creek Art League in Chapin, SC.


Self-taught and committed to continual growth, Robin refines her work through ongoing study and inspiration drawn from established artists. Her paintings often reflect themes of hope, meaning, and quiet reflection expressed through layered composition, expressive color, and thoughtful detail.


Robin’s work is held in private collections across the United States, and she accepts commissioned work. 


She recently won the Musical Break Out Award at the 31st Annual Crooked Creek Art League Juried Show. Her art has been featured in both private and public spaces, including Lilfred's Restaurant in Rembert, South Carolina, and a painted park bench commissioned by the town of Pageland.  She has also contributed artwork to numerous charitable fundraisers.

The gallery can be located throughout the Prosperity Town Hall Offices at 305 N. Main Street, Prosperity, SC 29127.


CCAL is proud to partner with Prosperity for an exhibition gallery in the Prosperity Town Hall. We are grateful for their support and proud to have them as a business partner in supporting the arts in the community.

In this gallery, preference is given to art and artists with a direct connection to the Town of Prosperity, but all artists in the league can participate.

This exhibit hosts a minimum of 6-8 pieces but can accommodate as many as 12 pieces of wall hanging artwork per month.
