-Brief discussion on the importance of composition and lighting techniques to create more pleasing images.

-Then editing your photos using the tools the smartphones provide as well as third party apps that are so powerful you don’t need to use Photoshop or Lightroom will be discussed.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Photo: Angel Allen

Erdal CabaI retired in April 2017 after 40 years in nuclear power. I immediately put a majority of my time into photography which has always been a passion of mine. I became a member of TAG, Columbia Camera Club, Carolina Nature Photographers Association and most recently CCAL. In December 2017, I was accepted into the Village Artists Gallery in Sandhills where my work is still on display. The gallery has a classroom in back which I wanted to take advantage of. I saw a big hole in the knowledge of the iPhone camera features and applications, editing and basic photography principles. I noticed that even professional photographers struggle with this using their smartphones.
