About the event
The Art of Abstraction
In this 2-day acrylic painting workshop, students will learn to transition from representational art to non-objective imagery through purposeful use of color, a laser focus on composition and a laying a strong foundation for idea generation.
Have you ever wanted to try abstract painting, but get a stuck in coming up with ideas or compositions that don’t end up like you expected? Whether you want to paint for fun, try something new or create a masterpiece, we’ll work through all the steps to get you toward a successful final painting in this fun workshop. Get those ideas out of your head and onto the canvas. You will work though a series of exercises to help you create a strong plan for success and transpose ideas onto large canvases.
