Soft Pastel Workshop with Beth Williams (2 Day Workshop)

Students will explore how composition, color harmony, and textural techniques can transform a reference photo into expressive paintings. We will experiment with wet and dry techniques to achieve mood and interest while discovering the versatile range of soft pastels.

Please Note: Beth will loan a set of nupastels, and give out the uart paper, tape and other misc supplies needed for the class exercises.   We will have a table with all the supplies needed for people who dont have their own to come and collect what they need to take the class. Basically the fee to rent the supplies for the day for up to 6 people to not purchase pastels and use hers for the workshop, which is a great opportunity for people who want to try the medium without the large investment, at an additional cost of $35 plus processing fee for total of…
