Collage Landscapes taught by Julie Larkin. This will be an in-person 2-day workshop. On the first day participants will be making their own paper for the collage using acrylics or watercolors. On the second day participants will use their papers to complete the collage landscape.
Day 1
Since Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque first began adding collaged materials to their paintings in 1912, artists have explored the process in countless ways.
Our focus in this workshop will be on building a landscape collage using our own papers and accenting with paint where necessary. Any kind of paper, from thick to thin, can be stained with any kind of Watermedia.
