2021-22 CCAL Board
2020 was an unusual year to say the least!
We are so lucky to have so many wonderful people in the league and on our board. To deal with COVID, the Crooked Creek Art League Executive Board along with our Committee Chairs and Coordinators put a plan together and created a way of connecting everyone to each other. 2020/2021 has showed us how to create a new and more evolved normal. And now, the human connection is back and CCAL is planning to have regular in person General Meetings starting in September.
In preparation for the upcoming year, Crooked Creek Art League is so excited to announce our 2021/2022 Executive Officers:
President - Kay Fox
Vice President - Debi Kelly
Secretary - Lainie McWilliams
Treasurer - Maureen Carter
Parliamentarian - Sandra Oliver
In addition, a new non-voting position on the Executive Board, Webmaster, is proposed beginning in the 2021-22 league year. This proposed change will be brought before the full membership at our September General Meeting for approval. It will will require two-thirds of the members in attendance as per our Constitution. This is proposed in recognition of the critical role of webmaster is playing now and will play in the future. Barbara Teusink has agreed to continue in this role as our Webmaster.
We are also proud to announce our Committee Chairs and Coordinators for 2021/2022:
Chapin Chamber Representative - JJ Casey
Community Art Project - Barbara Teusink
Fund Raising - Mary Collette
Public Galleries - Allyn Bedenbaugh
Grant Applications - Alexandra DiFrancesco
Greeter - Melanie Wyatt
Juried Exhibit - Kay Stallings and Lisa Alberghini
Membership - Rebecca Horne, Jean Kirkley and Ruth DiMirra
Photographer - Brian Fox
Publicity - Sandra Oliver
Refreshments - TBD
Still Hopes Exhibition - Bobbi Sorensen
Social Media - Barbara Teusink
Technical Setup and Support - Jim DiFrancesco
Workshops - Sonya Diimmler
We are still looking for a Refreshments Coordinator. Please consider volunteering. It is not a difficult position and it doesn't mean you have to bring all the refreshments. It is primarily a process of soliciting volunteers to bring food each month (we normally have a lot!) and then using email and phone calls to remind everyone before the meeting.
If you are interested in this role, or any others, please check out the complete listing of jobs and their duties HERE. The best way to get the most out of the league is to get involved! Please contact Kay Fox or the relevant board member above if you are interested in helping out in any role.
Have an amazing year!
