THE ARTISTS PLACE
at Crooked Creek Park
Current and Upcoming Exhibits
The Artist Place Gallery, established in 2001, is located in the lobby of Crooked Creek Park at 1098 Lexington Hwy, Chapin, SC and can be viewed during normal hours of park operations.
A rotating exhibit of fine art in a wide variety of mediums including oil, acrylic, watercolor, photography and 3D. Originals and prints can be discovered here with new displays each month. Work is hung on the wall on both sides of the lobby as well as exhibited in the large cabinet on the right as you enter. Each piece of art is labeled with artist contact information. If you see something you like, contact the artist to purchase.
Every March the hallways of the building are filled with original framed works for the CCAL Annual Juried Show and Sale. Artworks may be purchased from the artists, but must remain hanging for the duration of the show. A list of available works with artist contact information and price is available at the reception desk. Award Winning Art with ribbons hangs in TAP Gallery in April. In September, The Best of Show Artist award winner is featured in the gallery.
In April, Chapin Celebrates the Arts fills the hallway gallery with student art from all the local schools. Award winners are selected by a panel of CCAL artists and receive ribbons.
