Debi is inspired by the culture, wildlife and scenery of the South. She incorporates liberal touches of color, texture, angles and detailed drawing to capture movement and life in her paintings. Pastel remains her medium of choice, but she also uses acrylics and oil. She is a “Member of Excellence” in the Southeastern Pastel Society, Atlanta; an “Associate Member” of the Pastel Society of America in New York; and a member of the Crooked Creek Art League. Juried Shows include Artfields, Southeastern Pastel Society Members Juried Exhibition and the International Exhibition in Atlanta, Union County Arts Council, as well as others.
