


Ann Peake



A native of Greenville, SC, Ann moved to Columbia, SC in 2000 and began an adventure with oil. Her beginnings were in watercolor where she painted under the tutelage of Julia Peters for nine years. She has traveled with a group of 12 artists in the Cotswells of England, the Chinque Terra region in Italy and many of the states here in the US.
Ann has studied in workshops with Mary Kathryn Massey, OPA, AA, James Sulkowski of Sulkowski Fine Arts, Michael Story, Patti Brady, Rob Shaw and most recently returned to the study of watercolor with Russell Jewell and Sandra Roper.
Ann enjoys and chooses varied subjects for her paintings and is most recently has found a strong interest in the painting of big birds. She favors bright colors which expresses her energy and enthusiasm for life.
Ann exhibits in the South Carolina State Fair, participated in “Art in the Park” in Greenville SC, Meet Me at Tapp’s and is currently preparing for a show in “WEST GALLERY” in Columbia, SC. She is active in the art scene in the Columbia area and is a member and served as past President of The Crooked Creek Art League.
