COVID-19 Impacts

Like everyone else, we continue to monitor and respond to Covid-19 impacts. Here's what we know right now: April Workshop with Richard Jewell - CANCELLED April 2020 Board Meeting - CANCELLED April 2020 General Meeting - CANCELLED April 4 Juried Show Art Pick-up - Postponed (we do not yet know when Crooked Creek Park will reopen. A new pick up date will be scheduled once we have more information.) As of today, we still hope to be able to hold our May workshop and meeting and belated celebration of the Juried Show winners. We will keep you updated as the situation continues to evolve. Stay safe everyone and we hope to see you again at our May meeting.

The exhibit is rich in talent and diversity and ALL the artists deserve congratulations for their pieces. In addition, it takes many hours to plan and hold the show each year. Many volunteers donated many hours to make it possible and they all deserve our thanks and congratulations as well. Juried Show Artwork Now Online

While art is always better when experienced in person, you can now view all 151 pieces of the fabulous artwork for the 25th Annual CCAL Juried Art Show and Sale on our website at We are looking forward to the Awards Reception next Friday, March 20 at Crooked Creek Park. Congratulations Due for Al Leitch!

Congratulations to CCAL Member and past president, Al Leitch! His Painting "Dawn’s Early Light" was accepted into the Southeastern Pastel Society’s 19th International Juried Exhibition May 8 – June 21, 2020 at the Oglethorpe University Museum of Art in Atlanta, Georgia. The opening reception is the evening of May 28th. He extends his thanks to the juror, Debora Stewart, for the honor of having his painting selected to be part of the exhibition.
