Please visit our Booth at the 2019 Chapin Labor Day Festival! The Arts Sail into Chapin is a collaboration between the Crooked Creek Art League (CCAL) and the Town of Chapin. The project has been a year in the making. The concept for the project transformed the Town’s emblematic logo into 13 free standing aluminum sailboats artistically painted and embellished by CCAL artists. Local businesses were invited to serve as Host Sponsors. This highly visible public art display will be on exhibit throughout the months of August and September and will be featured in the 2019 Chapin Labor Day Festival. National Recognition for Our Members

Seventy-four paintings were selected out of 211 entries by juror Ryan Fox. The University Place Gallery at Francis Marion University in Florence, SC, will host the show from November 2 - December 20. The opening reception and awards ceremony is 4:30 - 6:30 pm, November 9. The Arts "Sail into Chapin"!

Sailboats began to set sail in Chapin last week in the All New Community Art Project Eighteen artists have been working hard to lovingly craft sailboats to enrich the art scene in and around Chapin. The Crooked Creek Art League wants to shine a light on the vibrant arts community in Chapin and surrounding areas. Toward that end, CCAL has partnered with the Town of Chapin to promote the arts and the town. We have been an active part of the community since we were established in 1995 and hope to have the chance to give back to the town. The mayor's office agrees, saying "The Town of Chapin is delighted to have partnered with the Cooked Creek Art League on the exciting #SailintoChapin project.
