Ron
Weathers
Ron enjoys painting in watercolor when time permits. He is the president and founder of Weathers Contracting Company, Inc. He graduated from the College of Architecture at Clemson University in 1979. He and his family have lived on Lake Murray since 1984.
Ron began painting in High School. After a long “time away” he is now finding time to pursue his art. Ron has participated in many art workshops featuring nationally and internationally known artists.
Ron is a past president of Crooked Creek Art League and a member of the SC Watercolor Society.
He won “Best of Show” in the 2010 in the Annual Juried Art Exhibit sponsored by the Crooked Creek Art League and was juried into the SCWS annual show. He recently received a Merit Award and a Patron Purchase Award at the SC State Fair in 2007. He was the recipient of First Place in 2008, Second Place in 2007, First Place in 2006 and Second Place in 2005 in the Annual Juried Art Exhibit sponsored by the Crooked Creek Art League.
